Illustrative programme, not a client recordTalk through your programme

Most project delays are visible before they become critical.

The challenge is recognising and acting on the signals.

  • 01

    Projects slipping against contractual milestones

Critical path validation and executable recovery strategy

  • 02

    Contractor manpower commitments repeatedly missed

Capacity validation, production-rate planning and productivity monitoring

  • 03

Schedule appears achievable but workfronts remain unavailable

    Constructability, access and dependency review

  • 04

    Cost escalation and uncontrolled variations

Cost forecasting, progress measurement and change governance

  • 05

Management reports progress but risks surface too late

Early-warning indicators and project performance dashboards

  • 06

    Multiple contractors with conflicting priorities

Interface management and integrated execution governance

Four engagements

Delivered as a structured diagnostic, a project-specific assignment or a monthly advisory retainer — one scope, one set of deliverables.

Flagship engagement

Project Health Check & Delay Diagnostic

The starting point for every engagement: an independent read of where the programme really stands, delivered as a fixed scope with defined deliverables — the evidence a recovery decision is built on.

Assessment inputs

  • Baseline and current schedules, milestone commitments and progress updates
  • Site progress evidence, workfront status and access constraints
  • Contractor resource plans, production rates and productivity records
  • Cost forecasts, variation records and current risk and interface logs

Scope — what the health check examines

  • Schedule realism and critical path validation
  • Physical progress measured against reported progress
  • Workfront constraints, access and constructability review
  • Delivery risk identification and prioritisation
  • Contractor capacity and production-rate assessment
  • Cost exposure and variation position review

Deliverables — what you receive

  • Findings report with prioritised interventions
  • Priority risk register
  • Intervention roadmap the site can execute
  1. 01

Project Health Check & Delay Diagnostic

The flagship entry engagement — full scope, inputs and deliverables are set out above.

Deliverable — Findings report, priority risk register, intervention roadmap

  2. 02

    Schedule Recovery & Execution Strategy

Recovery planning based on production rates, available resources, contractor capacities, sequencing and workfront readiness.

Deliverable — Recovery schedule, resource plan, milestone assurance framework

  3. 03

    Project Controls & PMO Governance

Project performance systems integrating planning, cost control, progress measurement, risk escalation and management reporting.

Deliverable — Controls framework, KPI dashboards, governance cadence

  4. 04

    Construction Productivity & Contractor Performance

Workfront-based resource planning, productivity diagnostics, bottleneck removal and contractor performance improvement.

Deliverable — Productivity baselines, resource deployment plan, corrective action tracking

AI-assisted analytics for project risk and early warning is a developing capability of the practice, not a product we claim to have already proven.

D.R.G. framework

Diagnose · Recover · Govern

Every engagement runs in the same three moves, so the work is comparable from one project to the next.

  1. 1

    Diagnose

Find the real causes of schedule and performance deterioration.

  2. 2

    Recover

Create a practical, resource-validated execution recovery plan.

  3. 3

    Govern

Establish accountability, leading indicators and decision discipline.

Selected Professional Project Experience

Records from the principal's career in prior delivery roles, not consultancy engagements or clients of Clear Milestone. Client names and confidential detail are withheld. Outcomes are described qualitatively; no figures are published without supporting evidence and permission.

Record A

Career experience — prior delivery role

Accelerating high-rise residential construction

Challenge
A large township expansion of multistorey residential towers was accelerating execution while finishes and connected services competed for the same workfronts.
Role
Construction planning and milestone coordination across the tower programme.
Intervention
Accelerated execution cycles with integrated MEP planning, sequencing the services workfronts ahead of the finishes they hold up.
Outcome
Services workfronts were sequenced ahead of the finishes that depend on them, giving the tower programme a single, coordinated execution sequence for MEP and finishing trades.

Record B

Career experience — prior delivery role

Improving cost efficiency through construction resource optimisation

Challenge
Material handling and disposal on a large site was treated as a cost of doing business rather than a resource to be planned.
Role
Construction resource planning and cost control.
Intervention
Reuse of weathered rock and construction materials in place of imported fill and fresh procurement.
Outcome
Excavated weathered rock and recoverable construction materials were planned as site resources, reducing reliance on imported fill and fresh procurement for those uses.

Record C

Career experience — prior delivery role

Managing delivery complexity in a large solar manufacturing development

Challenge
A large solar manufacturing complex brought infrastructure workfronts, precast production, material flow and contractor capacity into one site at the same time.
Role
Delivery coordination across infrastructure, precast and cross-functional interfaces.
Intervention
Interface management across workfronts, production planning for precast, and material flow matched to contractor capacity.
Outcome
Infrastructure, precast and contractor workfronts were run against one coordinated interface and production plan, giving the site a shared basis for sequencing and escalation.

The records above predate the practice and are not Clear Milestone client engagements. Outcomes are stated qualitatively; employer names, client names and figures are withheld. No clients, testimonials or awards are claimed.

Udaykumar Bamane— Founder | Project Recovery & Project Controls Advisor

A senior construction execution and project controls professional with extensive experience across industrial infrastructure, solar manufacturing developments, residential high-rise construction, refinery expansion and complex project delivery.

That experience spans construction planning, schedule management, cost control, contractor performance, productivity improvement and leadership reporting.

The advisory approach connects practical site execution with structured management controls, so the recovery plan is one the site can actually run.
